Testimonials

“Kimber is one the most supportive and kind yoga instructors I have known. She connects with everyone in the class in a sincere and helpful way. You will love her classes!”
-Mary A., San Diego, CA

"When I started my yoga journey, I used Classpass as a way to find a studio I liked and wanted to commit to. It only took me one class with Kimber to find that studio. Kimber is one of my favorite yoga teachers I've had the opportunity to practice with. She's an authentic person and her positivity is felt once you enter the studio. I always left her classes feeling physically great and mentally relaxed. I was new to sound healing and always looked forward to my next class with her and her instruments.”
-Emily S., San Diego, CA

“Before going to Kimber‘s yoga classes, I found yoga too rigorous and awkward. I loved the outdoor classes in the park! Kimber is caring and thoughtful about those who come to her class. Everyone is welcome. The moves really helped my balance and strength.”
-Carrie P., San Diego, CA

“I highly recommend Kimber Alisse if you are looking for a kind, gentle, aware person to help with your journey to peace of mind and body. My first experience with Kimber was joining her San Diego outdoor community yoga class in a neighborhood park under fragrant eucalyptus trees and children happily playing nearby. She is very welcoming and possesses a calmness that is not very common in my experienced 55 year life.”
-Colleen H., San Diego, CA

About Kimber Alisse, MPH, RYT 200

Hello! I’m Kimber, a 200-hour Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga Teacher, and I’ve been teaching yoga since 2018. I originally discovered yoga in my 20’s to help with back pain, but the calming, stress-reducing aspects of the practice are what kept me coming back.

I had the honor of training with some of San Diego’s top instructors during my first yoga teacher training, and I’ve since taken supplemental trainings in sound healing, Restorative and Yin yoga, trauma-informed approaches, Ayurveda, and Insight Meditation. I infuse mindfulness into my teachings to foster greater relaxation, and most of all I strive to make yoga accessible to all.

I’m an avid nature (and animal!) lover and hiker, and I hold a master’s degree in public health. I make it my top priority to keep my students safe in my classes. I look forward to seeing you on the mat, on the trail, or both!
